With our continued growth across the company, FinTrU is now looking for a full time Security and Facilities Officer to join the team based between FinTrU House & Pakenham Street in Belfast from July 2021.

Working hours will be 11am to 8pm Monday to Friday (with a one hour unpaid lunch break).
The successful candidate will be responsible for security of our Belfast offices, delivering first class front of house service and will act as a key member of the Corporate Services team.

Role Responsibilities

This is a significant ‘Front of House’ role which includes meeting and greeting visitors to the office in a professional manner, along with:
  • Presenting a professional and visible security presence at the premises
  • Using the on-site security system, including generating security IDs and monitoring CCTV
  • Completing patrols of internal and external areas
  • Completing and maintaining various security documentation and records
  • Carrying out regular health and safety checks and implementation of fire safety regulations
  • Completing deliveries of IT equipment and associated company assets (current driver’s licence required)
  • Providing cover on other FinTrU sites, when required
  • Ensuring that facilities are well maintained
  • Working as a key part of the wider Corporate Services team
  • Securing the offices at the end of the day
  • Maintaining of exterior grounds
  • Supervise staff/external contractors where needed
  • Complete minor maintenance tasks/surveys around the office
  • Any other reasonable duties requested i.e. answering/directing calls, maintaining logs, post


The Ideal Candidate
 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in a security focused role within an office environment or the hospitality industry
  • Holds a full UK driving licence
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and well-presented with a professional demeanour
  • Embodies a “can-do” attitude
  • Experience using email and telephone to interact with staff and/or clients
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc. and a keenness to further develop skills in these programs
  • Ability to carry out minor repairs and general maintenance
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks appropriately
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Skills & Experience
 
  • SIA Qualified in Security Guarding and/or CCTV (PSS) Surveillance
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work
  • Qualified First Aider and/or Fire Warden
  • Access control experience – ideally AC2000
