As Talent Sourcing Associate, you will support the FinTrU Talent Acquisition Team by sourcing and engaging with the best talent in the market, both passive and active candidates, to ensure that we have a pipeline of talent available as soon as a relevant opportunity arises.

FinTrU continues to grow at a rapid pace and as a result there is now an opportunity to join our expanding Talent Acquisition team.  The Talent Sourcing Associate will play an important role in continuing to drive forward our ambitious growth plans in the coming years.

As Talent Sourcing Associate, you will support the FinTrU Talent Acquisition Team by sourcing and engaging with the best talent in the market, both passive and active candidates, to ensure that we have a pipeline of talent available as soon as a relevant opportunity arises.

You will focus on providing a first-class candidate experience throughout the process through providing updates on application progress, delivering outcomes and providing meaningful feedback in a timely manner.

This role will initially be home based until the guidance from the Northern Ireland Executive allows a safe and phased return to the office, at which point you will be based in one of our North West offices in Derry/Londonderry for at least part of your working week.  You will be provided with all the hardware and support that you need to work from home successfully.


Key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing a strong understanding of the unique FinTrU culture and story in order to genuinely articulate the FinTrU story to engage prospective candidates
  • Engaging with our candidates at all stages of the process to create an exceptional candidate journey, regardless of outcome
  • Proactively sourcing candidates for current and future vacancies using a broad range of techniques
  • Talent pipelining for future roles
  • Keeping the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) up to date at all times
  • Managing the Careers mailbox and responding to queries as appropriate
  • Building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers to understand and support their hiring needs
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team in delivering the recruitment strategy
  • Working alongside the TA and Marketing teams to create impactful recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Building strong relationships with relevant external stakeholders, including educational establishments, and attending relevant events to represent FinTrU

The ideal candidate:
  • Has at least two years recruitment experience within a significant focus on direct candidate sourcing and engagement
  • Focuses on ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
  • Has experience in using an online Applicant Tracking System
  • Is proficient using MS Office applications
  • Thrives under pressure with the ability to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-moving environment
  • Must be an excellent and confident communicator with a strong eye for detail
  • Embodies the ‘extra mile’ attitude and approach to ensure delivery of the best results every time

Desirable experience:
  • Sourcing experience within professional services, legal services or a technology company
