FinTrU is looking for talented Full Stack Software Engineers to join our technology department in their journey to bring innovation to the RegTech space by building efficient & effective Regulatory Compliance Solutions. The successful individuals can be based in either Belfast or Derry/Londonderry.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for designing new features as well as working on optimisation and fixes for existing solutions. 
  • Willing to do it with keen eye to the detail with upfront documented design and, by working with them, mentoring other members of the team following best practices is very much expected. 
  • Joining at this early stage you will have the opportunity to shape the way going forward.   
  • Due to our move away from traditional roles this position requires you to wear many hats therefore experience across web application software layers and seeing further than just the code is a must. 
  • Knowledge of hosting, deployment and operations is an advantage as this will enable us to onboard new hosting technologies such as containerisation and microservice architecture in an efficient manner. 
  • Building from scratch, we are looking at adopting fresh tech that might push you out of your comfort zone of the usual MS stack for legacy apps. 

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years Full Stack development experience in .NET 

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles 

  • Working knowledge of Test Driven Development and associated Frameworks and Tools. 

  • Experience developing and designing RESTful services and APIs. 

  • Experience with front end libraries such as Angular 

  • Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies 

  • Experience with designing and maintaining database structures (SQL/NoSQL) 

  • Knowledge of Cloud based technologies such as Azure + AWS 

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision
