FinTrU is looking for talented individuals to join our technology department in their journey to bring innovation to the RegTech space by building efficient & effective Regulatory Compliance Solutions.

In FinTrU’s commitment to its Engineering talent, we are looking for passionate and professional engineering managers to assist in building a positive Engineering culture and lead 1-2 of our Software Engineering teams rapidly expanding technology department.

The successful individuals will be based in Derry/Londonderry.
You are expected to thrive in an agile cross-functional environment and ensure the continuous success of our engineering teams by aligning them with our people-centric values, in order to produce quality software on time. Your will cover administrative, recruitment, managerial and technical responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead 1-2 engineering teams and align them with the company's vision
  • Create and drive a positive engineering culture that will attract top talent who want to work at FinTrU
  • Work in partnership with senior engineering manager to create the technology direction and roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers and leaders to deliver projects
  • Build out an exceptional and diverse team of engineering talent
  • Own the performance and personal growth of the engineers
  • Use data to drive your decisions


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience of leading and developing high performing teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions
  • Demonstrated passion in advocating for and implementing software engineering best practices including development methodologies, CI/CD & DevOps
  • Strong delivery capabilities - knows how to navigate and collaborate with Product teams to deliver
  • Passionate about putting people at the centre of what we do and promoting company values and culture
  • Highly effective communicator, proficient with both technology and non-technology stakeholders



  • Exposure to delivering technology projects for regulated industries
  • A solid background in software engineering
  • Experience delivering cloud-native SaaS solutions
