FinTrU is looking for a talented Project Coordinator to join our client delivery team within our Belfast or North West Office. You will have the opportunity to work directly with a global Tier 1 Investment Bank and liaise with their IT Product Owners to problem solve and coordinate the delivery of system, process, data and reporting enhancements.

All FinTrU offices remain closed in line with current NI Executive guidance but, thanks to FinTrU's technology infrastructure, you will be able to join and work remotely for as long as needed. We’ll provide you with all the hardware that you need!

Role Responsibilities

Application development coordination:

  • Gather, understand and document business requirements
  • Liaise with client stakeholders to fully understand data content
  • Work with client IT team to agree and plan system enhancements and prioritization, as well as track progress against planned release roadmap
  • Support handover to BAU via coordination of post implementation checks and rollout of demos and updated user guides

Data management and reporting:
  • Create and test data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
  • Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
  • Maintain and check Reporting updates, notifications and tracking

Process Optimisation:
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis of reporting and system issues
  • Identify process efficiencies and automation
  • Develop data management processes and training documents

Required Experience, Skills and Attributes
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working within a Banking or Financial Services project team
  • JIRA experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Power BI experience
  • User testing experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
