This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior UX Designer to play a part in one of Belfast's fastest growing technology teams.
As part of our Product Design team, you will work collaboratively with others to research, prototype and test solutions for a suite of FinTech applications, all in a fast-paced and fun environment.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Combine UX thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces
  • Help plan and run user tests and other design research to inform decisions
  • Design and prototype elegant solutions for complex problems
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to provide business value
  • Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to evolving and refining our design system
  • Help build out design processes, tools and culture
  • Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
  • Mentor and coach junior UX designers on the team
The Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer backed up with a portfolio of varied design projects
  • Experience with user research such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
  • Passion for quality and an appreciation of interaction and visual design principles
  • Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision)
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and plan workload to meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Degree in Interaction Design or a related qualification
  • Experience leading / mentoring a team is a plus
