Are you obsessed with data, knowledgeable on evolving trends in technology and data management and looking for a role who's primary purpose is to enable business decision making and the development of innovative technology solutions through the provision of high quality, transparent and accessible data?

We are searching for a Data Strategy and Governance Lead to create and implement a data strategy which enables FinTrU and their clients to unlock timely insights from their data.
To create and implement a forward-looking data strategy which enables data-driven decision making and supports FinTrU's accelerating growth.
To work with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to elicit data requirements which can support the creation of innovative technology solutions for internal clients/systems and as part of new product development.
To evangelize data best practices within the organization to ensure development of robust and scalable solutions.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • A mix of business and technology expertise which will enable you to develop and implement strategic plans as well as flexing to a short term responsive approach which unlocks the value of data    
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of how data interacts with an integrated systems landscape and the dependencies on systems and process to support the data flows 
  • Analytics, requirements gathering and project leadership/delivery capabilities 
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality measurement, audit or similar concepts and associated best practices 
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills 
Desirable:
  • Experience in a data strategy, data governance or data analyst role 
  • Exposure to delivering technology projects for regulated industries
